Shoshin Weekly #40: Who inspired me this week
Hey everyone,
Thank you to everyone who supported the Mindful & Driven launch last week.
It’s been an odd week where most of the covid restrictions were lifted in the UK. It’s great to be returning back to normal life but I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling slightly overwhelmed.
I’ve also been addicted to the Olympics this week and it’s great to see the stories behind some of the athletes.
Here are 7 things I think will add value to your life this week:
Episode 4 of Mindful & Driven is out and my guest is the poet and author Komal Kapoor.
If you want some heartwarming stories, follow the official Refugee Olympic Team Twitter. It’s incredible how these superstars have overcome such pain to reach their pinnacle of their sports. They’re an inspiration.
I took my side hustles full time and it’s not quite the dream I expected. If you’re thinking of doing the same, check out my list of 7 things to watch out for.
Do you ever feel trapped to an identity that no longer makes you happy? Tim Denning makes the point that reinventing yourself constantly is an underrated way to live.
The Average Person at Gumroad Works 22 Hours a Week and Makes $115k a Year. Is it the perfect place to work?
I caught up with an old friend Preeti Kaur at the weekend who is the host of It’s Preeti Personal. Check out to get a glimpse into life for South Asian women.
Finally, the Infostack megadeal runs out tonight where you get a $4900 discount on a bundle of 35 products to help you build a successful side hustle.
Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!
